Who we are?
Pune City Connect is a nonprofit organization. We are working with Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC), private sector companies, and NGOs to enable youth with skills and mindset for employability and making informed life choices.
There are 8 Lighthouses in Pune which operate as learning and skilling centers for such youth and communities.
Due to the Covid crisis followed by a nation-wide lockdown, the Lighthouses were closed in March 2020 and continue to operate in a hybrid manner given the continuing pandemic.
Why the need for a Laptop and Smartphone drive
To enable these aspiring youth to continue their learning, we continued to conduct the training sessions and courses online. However, many of the youth don’t have access to any device, particularly women.
